Vodafone called me up offering me a…
Vodafone called me up offering me a monthly deal which was better then the big value bundles I was buying. I assumed it was just a pay monthly deal with no strings and it was cheaper as I was paying with direct debit. I've now found out today that they actually locked me into a year long agreement with them in which I can't swap providers until June next year. The person on the phone did not mention this to me ONCE and just displayed this as some sort of monthly deal. I've now been told I can't swap over to another network without paying a lot of money due to this 'agreement'. This is scummy. I should be told I'm entering a contract when the salespeople are calling me about it. I should not be told I'm in a 1-year agreement I was completely unaware of a month later. This is just cheap way to sell a contract to me without even being informative and open about the fact ITS A CONTRACT. Been with vodafone for over 7 years and after this contract expires I'll be moving to another provider immediately.

Avoid like the plague! Go with EE
Absolutely shocking company, customer service is rubbish, never able to call my number or the business managers phone even knowing we are both on Vodafone or we are never called back as promised.
Automated call service is the worst I have ever used trying to contact a business.
Overall the company is S*** and you should go with EE where I have never had an issue with customer service, we will be changing all our business lines over at the earliest opportunity.
I JUST WANT TO CANCEL!!
I just had my call disconnected by someone when I wanted to cancel my broadband, called back disconnected again. How were these humans raised?

Appalling company
Appalling company. It took me over six weeks and conversations to finally close my contract and 12 months later I find that Vodafone have continued taking money from me! I called to sort it and because I don't have an account I can't stop it. Four weeks later and they tell me they are charging me for no product whatsoever and have created a separate account for me that I didn't request. However, despite it being all their fault, I need to call them again (they won't call you, ever) to sort it and this could take 2+ hours. Beyond a joke. Literally 30+ hours of my life on the phone and on live chats to these people and £200 out of pocket. Avoid Vodafone at all costs.

Feels like a scam
Feels like a scam. I can't believe such a big company has such bad customer service. None of the agents have power to make changes to your account so you'll be batted across from one department to the next until it's closing time and everyone goes home.

Avoid - appalling, abusive customer service
Signed up with these and got an activation date - which they missed. Managed to get them to connect it the next day (had confirmation from previous that vodafone did NOT take the line over on schedule). Then found it impossible to use their app or online portal to access my account or make changes and have been trying for weeks to get any help from them. Round and round it goes - keep asking them when I will be able to access that account and set-up content and other basics and today, they email back to say "We have two apps" - as if that's an answer. No matter what you ask them, they ALWAYS ignore your question and leave you chasing them. They also told me on live chat that caller display and anonymous call reject were included - turns out I have to pay A LOT extra and even then, can't activate anything because their account software doesn't work. I also appear to have multiple accounts and they keep inventing fake charges - I query those and they vanish, then vodafone deny they ever existed. And everything you do is buried behind multiple passwords and codes which are all sent within seconds of each other to the same phone number - totally fake "security". Best advice - avoid them because there's clearly huge issues with their customer service staff's attitudes. Am trying to get this escalated - I doubt it will help because any company this bad is ALWAYS run by people who set the example

Give this Company a miss
I strongly urge people not to go with this company. Customer Service is terrible. Prepare to wait 20/30 minutes before you get human contact. The staff are often unable to help & you get passed around (sometimes cut off), in my experience. It's frustrating & time wasting

They lost me my chance of a mortgage!!!
I have been a customer for over 4 years and I have NEVER been through so much mental, physical and financial stress, let me just list everything...
1. I was on the annual upgrade promise, received the text from vodafone and had an advisor set me up a deal, was later told I'm not eligible and without reasoning, despite me checking terms and conditions and being eligible
2. the app told me I owed well over £50, rang up and was told it was wrong so didn't pay, week later I was cut off so I was then told to pay it, turns out that entire payment was an overpayment - due to 'lateness' my credit score was knocked -100 points and I lost my mortgage advisor due to being 'unfit' to pay, to make it even worse I never received the money back so they have an extra £50 from me and my credit score is now bad because of a fault on their end
3. I have raised many complaints to which no one gets back to you, even if they do they offer a £10 credit for 'goodwill' and that is it.
4. the customer service staff hang up on you, they never listen to what you are telling them and talk to you like you are stupid, some even have a right attitude
5. I moved home and have constant poor signal, I was told by vodafone that its not their problem its mine because I moved, a second advisor told me there is work being carried out (for over 3 weeks apparently) and a third one told me there is no work being done the signal is just bad
All of this and I am stuck in a contract with them still, I cannot use my phones full services away from wifi, I am constantly greeted with poor customer service (and usually over 4 hours every time I speak with them). For a company that has literally ruined my chances of getting a house, refused to take THEIR mistake off my credit score (which they can do) and all they offered me was £10.
I offered to hand my device back and call it a day, basically begged to leave so I could find a company that would treat me better and fit my needs and they laughed and said no.

Both Vodaphone and Fibrecity are useless
Tried to get fibrecity broadband via Vodaphone. Both are useless and unhelpful. They really do not care and I
think the 87% bad reviews says it all. Steer clear and hopefully they will either change management or go bankrupt and be replaced by someone who gives a damn.

Rebuish customer services
Hi, I m new to Vodafone. I was too long with my previous company. I was much happier then now. Since I came with Vodafone I feel I m miss led and sold products which is not true. I contacted them so many time but it is just waste of time. No action taken. My experience is Vodafone staff is not trained properly and fit for the job. You will be keep explaining your problem and you will be transferred to different departments. At the end you call will dropped. I think Vodafone need to get rid of Toby. It is useless. My experience with Vodafone is rebuish. I have never seen a customer service like this in my life. Don't get fool by them once you in contract you will be left alone. This is my experience.
